Facebook Page

All brands have gone to Facebook. This is because everyone has got a Facebook account- even those young teens who are not supposed to be on this social networking site. Instead of spending for newspaper advertisements, Facebook Advertising offers a more affordable program that can reach out the portion of the market you are being targeting.

Corporate Website

Gone are the days when brochures and company profiles are the main source of general information about a company and its offerings. With the use of a corporate website, unlimited information including the latest promotions can be surfaced to the market. Websites do not just act for brand awareness, the pages can actually sell because of automation.

Infommercials

Sellers no longer use the phrase “buy now ” because it has become an irritating line. No one listens to those who are doing it hard. Instead of those hard-selling advertisements, marketers use infomercials that educate the market about how to use the product or maximize the service.  Infomercials aim to share a helpful message that could aid the market in their day-to-day life. With this strategy, the market retains the brand in their head more quickly.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Instead of spending the whole profit for business development, it is now a fad to spare an amount for community works. Big companies are hiring experienced people from non-profit organizations to run their CSR departments. As of now, the very companies that are active in finding cure to AIDS, regular folks in feeding street children, and those patrons in donating books to schools in far-flung areas are growing bigger and are performing better in the competition. This proves that the more a person gives, the more he receives.

Brand Ambassadors

Everyone has an idol. And whatever that idol uses, their fans also use. Thus, people who are being followed by a large number of people become ambassadors to brands. They vocally express their love for the brand and their followers become curious about the brand being endorsed. Nowadays, even bloggers become brand ambassadors because a lot of people reach out to them.

Weeks will pass and these five trends in marketing may be forgotten. New concepts will be introduced; the word “effective” marketing strategies will have a new meaning.
