2015 Strategies to Prospect real Estate Clients

Distributing flyers in populated areas was then the most effective way of prospecting buyers of house and lot, condominium, and townhouse offerings. That set up may no longer be that effective this 2015.

Agents would go to festivals and hand out brochures and freebies. Time has changed, and strategies have changed.

Here are new ways of prospecting those millionaire people looking for new investments:

1.    Placing of posters, video presentation, and pull up tarps in restaurants. While customers are waiting for their food, they may see your ads and start a talk about your new condo units.

2.    Sponsor a batch gathering. Look for batch reunions of rich people and pay for their tea in exchange of a five-minute talk to introduce your house and lot offer projects.

3.    Use the power of Facebook. With your own personal account, you can post photos of the townhouses you are selling. Your rich friends will message asking how to reserve one of the townhouses on your list.

4.    Send an email blast. With a database of email addresses, you send a very intriguing email about the lots you sell. At the end of the email, do not forget to place your contact details. Wait for days and you will have inquiries.

5.     Try newspaper inserts. Instead of distributing flyers under the hot sun, look for community newspapers. Inquire about their charge for inserts. It will be a bit expensive, but you can pick which community your flyers will reach.

6.    Send a text blast. Starting off with your family and friends, send a brief description of the lots you are selling. Mention if they could share the message to someone they know who might be interested in the offer. Why? Because they will get an incentive from you for a successful referral.

7.    Give away freebies. One of the most famous freebies that real estate companies give away is umbrella. When it is raining, people would use the umbrella and as they walk along streets, they expose the real estate company. Walking billboard? Yes it is.

8.     Publish other important articles. Instead of focusing on writing about the reasons why people should buy the condo units you are selling, why not write about the process of loaning an amount of money for housing? Sometimes, there are other matters that are needed by buyers that you do not attend to.

9.    Share your thoughts. On your Facebook account, post your thoughts about housing news and real estate policies. Be an opinionated person, not necessarily an expert. And people would know you as a smart realtor. And they would recommend you to their friends.

10. Smile all the time. Are explanations needed?

Among the 10 tips, number 10 seems to be the toughest thing to do. Prove that it is not.
