Google, Yahoo!, Bing and Ask for the benefit of a company.
The Human: SEARCH USER
1. Search User is a human being who is thirsty of information, has emotions, and does not just rely his judgment on what has been programmed by the society. He acknowledges the
fact that when he goes to a Search Engine, he gets a roll of answers to his queries. He logs on to a Search Engine and keys in a word or phrase. In SEO, the word or words he inputs into the search bar is called "keywords".
2. When searching, he gets Search Results arranged in pages. The most relevant, as judged by the search engine, are found in the
first pages. He clicks on the web pages that are interesting to him.
3. He
stays on a website that satisfies his curiosity. He reads the whole content,
throws comments, and even share the content link to on his Facebook and Pinterest accounts.
4. When
he opens a page that does not satisfy him, he closes it immediately.
The Robot: SEARCH ENGINE
1. A Search Engine is a robot made by humans that helps Search Users research on any topics. It has its own metrics to know if a
website is good or bad. It has its own strategy to know if a web content is original or not. A search engine has a database of information extracted from
different websites, labeled as trusted or not through its own judgment. The search engine may extract information
from credible and seasoned websites.
2. When
the Search User logs on to the Search Engine and inputs a keyword, the search engine
runs its man-programmed algorithm to filter all the information that will be
presented in the search results. All information that fit the criteria
basing on the used keyword are ranked. All high-ranking information appear in
the first pages of the results.
3. The Search Engine listens to the Search User as the user goes through the presented results. The Search Engine recognizes all interactive activities like liking, sharing, commenting and bookmarking by the Search User on a certain information. The Search Engine gives points to information/website that gained more activities, giving the information a good standing for future searches.
4. Information
that were closed immediately upon opening are given discredit points called, “bounce
rate”. This makes sure that all the presented information in the search results are the needed content for a certain keyword.
The Miracle Worker: SEO SPECIALIST
1. The
SEO specialist is some sort of a web expert. He has a general idea about how the search engine
and search users work. He creates a set of activities to manipulate the search
engine so it shows information from his company. He makes sure that there is
always a quality and fresh information from the company that are submitted to
the Search Engine for indexing or registration. He listens to what Search Users are interested in on a certain period of time, so he
knows the exact content his company should produce. He modifies content to make it amenable to both the Search Engine and the Search User.
2. He encourages
interaction on the content. He has different strategies so search users will
help in spreading the link to the content.
Undeniably, SEO standards
