Marketing and Public Relations executives prefer hiring younger people to become part of their team. Apparently, younger people are more adventurous in terms of discovering which strategies work for a certain campaign.

Here
are some of the new public relations strategies that are bringing massive
success to huge companies:
1. Be active on Facebook. Facebook is a website for everyone including professionals,
teenagers, parents, customers, bloggers, agriculturists, priests, state
officials, teachers, and the like.
2.
Create
a mobile app for your website. If everyone is using your website to look for a
job, new food recipes, news articles, etc., you might want to consider creating
a mobile app or mobile site version of your website. A mobile app is optimized
for hand-held gadgets, making it more comfortable to browse your website on a
mobile phone.
3. Support your local community. Companies that
provide scholarship programs, feeding programs, clean-up drives and other
offers that benefit the people around your business are more loved by customers or clients. Locals
ending up becoming your ambassadors and evangelists.
4.
When
coming up with brochures, posters, billboards and leaflets, use a person on the front cover, not just plain graphics or picture of nature or your product. The public
remembers people more quickly.
5.
When
you launch your corporate social responsibility platform, make sure your one of
your advocacies is related to the nature of your business. If you are an IT
company, one of you advocacies may deal with online security for school
kids. If you are in the field of agriculture, one of your endeavors may be to support farmers in far places.
6.
Create
videos on how your offerings are done. If you are running a restaurant, produce
a video on how you cook your specialties. This will not harm the secrecy of
your ingredients because you can always filter what to show on the video.
Upload the videos on YouTube and people will begin checking on your resto.
7.
Have
a monthly email digest to your registered customers. Every month, set a topic
of your email. Say for instance this month, you talk about how to use your
product during the rainy season. Then the next month, feature famous customers.
Do not concentrate on the greatness of your goods and services and never ever
hard sell. From time to time, send them public service announcements.
8.
If
you are into gift-giving, send gifts to you customers when they are not
expecting one. During Christmas, everyone sends your customers gifts making it
impossible for them to remember your gift. Thus, send gifts before and after
holidays to be remembered.
9.
Invite
your employees’ family and friends to an open house. During the event, treat
them properly and request if they could upload pictures and posts to their
personal accounts using a hashtag that is branded for the company.
10. Instead
of buying commercial spaces on TV, inquire about native advertisement programs
that the TV station offers. Native advertisements are more effective than the
usual commercial spaces. We will be discussing about native advertisements in the future.
The success of a brand still relies not on the PR strategies but its quality. Thus before listing down the effective strategies that you would like to adopt, please concentrate on the quality of your products and services first.
